Orbworks PocketC

A PocketC Interpreter for HPC/PPC That allows you to write applets in C directly on your device, although it's a little tedious on a Navman.

I was just using it to run other apps made in PocketC.

(PocketPC version)

It is available from http://www.orbworks.com/pcce/index.html under the downloads section. Make sure you download the HPC 2000 ARM version CAB file or you may run into troubles.

Requirements:
COREDLL.DLL <maybe>
COMMCTRL.DLL
IMGDECMP.DLL
MFCCE300.DLL
OLE32.DLL
OLEAUT32.DLL

I sourced all of these files from missing_dlls.zip (Thanks Navman Unlocked! Smile )

I only tested this on my S50, and as far as I know the original COREDLL.DLL in the Windows folder works fine on the S50 and probably other S Series devices. (Someone interested in trying out other devices for me? Smile )

CEPhotoViewer - Small Photo Viewer

small photo viewing application.

Key features are:
- Native C code. No dependencies on .NET or any other library
- Tiny
- Full screen photos with gestures and hot-spots
- Slide-show mode
- Nice transitions (you can see them all in the slide show mode)

Gestures:
- Slide left to go to next photo in list (You can also use the wheel down for this)
- Slide right to go to previous photo list (You can also use the wheel up for this)
- Slide up to go to last photo in list
- Slide down to go to first photo in list

Hot Spots
- Top left to open a specific folder. Folder navigation is done by sliding up and down and select the <This Folder> to select
- Bottom left to open a specific photo. Again, you can slide up or down or go to a specific folder
- Bottom Right to start/stop slide show mode. Slideshow is 3 seconds. You can change the config file to specify different interval
- Top right to exit
- Right edge of screen to go to next photo in list
- Left edge of screen to go to previous photo list (You can also use the wheel up for this)
- Bottom edge of screen to go to last photo in list
- Top edge of screen to go to first photo in list

Configuration
CEPhotoViewer saves its configuration in CEPhotoViewer.cfg in the same folder as the exe. This file contains the last open folder and the slide show timeout

Startup
- On startup CEPhotoViewer looks for any JPG/BMP/GIF images in the program's folder. Else it prompts you to select a folder. Once selected the config file is created and subsequent runs, it will automatically pickup that folder

Home page

Tested on Navman F10 and no DLLs were needed.

Microsoft Pocket Office
http://navmanunlocked.wikispaces.com/space/showimage/PocketOffice.zip

Cmonex's release, with a few extra dlls thrown in to get it working on the Navman.

With better solutions like SpreadCE, Pocket Office is never going to be a high priority need on PNAs. Added here to make the unlocked desktop look more kosher.

Install notes:
Unpack PocketOffice.zip
Copy [Office] to [Storage Card\Programs Files\Office] on the Navman
On the Navman, double click Office.reg to import the settings into the registry.

Office.reg registers PocketOffice to the [Storage Card\Program Files\Office] folder. If you wish to run Office from another location, then alter the paths in Office.reg and import it into Navman's registry.

For more information on PockOffice: www.hpcfactor.com

PocketAccess would not work so it wasn't included in the pack. PowerPoint might crash the first time you load a presentation. Load it again and it'll work.

Syntrax

Portrait mode

This synth/sequencer should work with no problem on Navman or any other PDA. It's freeware now, and the free registration is available on their site.

The Bible

I tried many versions of e-Sword including the very early ones, with no avail... But I found one short way to pass this limitation over. You have to install first the Palm emulator called StyleTap, and then you install into it the program Bible+. Works perfectly!

StyleTap D/L page: http://www.styletap.com/downloads.php

Bible+ D/L page: http://palmbibleplus.sourceforge.net/files.htm

OR, GO TO THIS POST FOR ANOTHER SOLUTION:

To someone's interest, here is a flash-like clock. Still wondering of the name - why silly? To me it seems very normal Smile
