I've been trying to install Spread CE in my ICN 510.
Executabilitycheck tells me that spreadce.exe need ceshell.dll, aygshell.dll and commctrl.dll.
I've put these dlls in the Spreadce folder but the problem continues.
I'm not sure of my version of spreadce.exe too
Please, can anyone tellme how to install it and where to get pocket excel?
Thankyou |

Here is the Spanish version.
| Code: | | http://byedesign2b.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/sce/sprentsp.zip |
When you export spreadsheets from the WinXP MS Office Excel choose Microsoft Excel 97-Excel2003 & 5.0/95. Conditional formatting is not supported, but it also is not supported in Pocket Excel. Save your sheets as Excel 97 workbooks (Libro de Excel97) within SpreadCE.
The only difference between the Shareware and Registered versions is that the Shareware version has a message that is displayed each time you use one of the File menu options. It is fully functional.
Modern PPC spreadsheet applications make full use of aygshell.dll. The aygshell.dll files that work on the Navman are either dummy or homemade files that have very limited functionality. It is highly unlikely that you will get anything more powerful than SpreadCE to run on the Navman. |

MSReader will work on the Navman (works OK on my 520) if you can find a version old enough.
Google for HPC win ce 4.2 MS Reader dt375 and you'll find a site that carries an old version that works with the Navman.
You'll need nyditot or other way of getting screen rotated to portrait.
Usual DLL's required:
aygshell.dll
zlib.dll
imgdecmp.dll
Put your .LIT files in My documents on root, or in storage card, and they'll be picked up.
If the author and title are not correctly set you'll find it hard to tell files apart in the very small library list!
If you are not a big fan of reader - don't bother with this, its only really useful if you're too lazy to convert .lit to a more portable form like .txt,
using haalireader is a much better reading experience! |

Hmmm... exchange rates need to be updated
Here's the simplified installation procedure for Omega One Calc, complete with the needed hex-edited dlls.
download link:One Calc dlls 449 KB
BTW To save space, all the 1-Calc**.htm files installed in the Windows folder can be deleted.
I have heard versions later than v2.3.1 are rather buggy on proper PocketPCs.
To update the currency rates in OneCalc, replace the currency.ini file with this one: www.journalbar.com/JB/currency.ini
Updated news:
One Calc v3.0.1 works on the Navman too. No bugs of which to speak. |
How do get this prog |

The dlls have been uploaded to Filefront and most of the links have now been updated to reflect this.
Missing dll pack
Check out the [dummy dll pack\Navman Easy Dlls] folder. |

Do you know of a ToDo list app that would run on a 530?
