hi all i cant get activesync to notice my navman s30 as a mobile device ,however it is being noticed as a removable disc (G) and when i insert the storage card in it it is being noticed as removable disc (H),i have tried all the methods for sorting these problems out in trouble shooting,does anyone else have this problem ?and did you get it sorted?.any help in sorting this issue much appreciated as following the guide for installing tomtom it looks as if you must use active sync.  |

I have the same problem.
When the navman s30 is linked to the pc by usb, the pc creates a G & H drive (G being navman, H being the memory card). The pc does display a mobile device but if you try to double click it, it just opens up a blank window.
Would appreciate any help. |

if its anything like the F10 you wont get it to work ive checked reg entries on my F10 and theirs no entries to active sync meaning it wont recognize the device.......
but i borrowed my friends X960(Viamichelin) and it includes the entries for active sync to recognize... making it connect straight away instead of mass storage devices.....
not sure if its possible to install active sync to a device whats not shipped with it? |

| From my point of view is the Activesync feature useless on a GPS unit. I really appreciate I can use the standard USB Mass Storage method. |
