Hi, I'm new to these forums, and it's awesome to finally find a forum for Navman. There are almost too many for tomtom.
I really like the navman interface, so this specifically different from unlocking the device. Was hoping to make some changes to the Navman sofware itself.
Navdesk does not really support these feautures, and alot of the members here seem to be very capable in the programming field, so I wanted to ask if anyone had any idea or even clue on how to:
Customize splash screens shown at startup/shutdown/resume from standby
Customize sounds played during shutdown/startup/resume from standby (when the unit automatically powers on/off when power is connected/lost)
If anyone knows, or could even point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks so much in advance!
p.s. I was reading a topic on how to build your own voices for the system by modifying the .dat file, and found it really helpful. It makes alot of other features seem more customizable now. |
