Working on iCN520 (WinCE 4.2)

NoFaker's dlls would not work on iCN520 (WinCE 4.2). Long story short: replaced some files, added a few extra, then eventually got XT to load without crashing. Was unable to solve lower taskbar problem. Mad



If anyone wants to try it for themselves, here are the required dlls and hex-edited Que.exe file. Just replace existing files with these ones.

Don't ask for serials or keygens thank you. They are easy to find elsewhere. I don't know if this will work on WinCE 5, but judging by Winterface I'm guessing it won't. To be honest, it's no big loss. This version of Garmin might have been adequate 3 years ago but in today's market it isn't worth the trouble.

Instructions:
Launch WinWatch first.
Set window size to 320,240
Launch Que
In Winwatch Select-check Taskbar Up. Then deselect Taskbar UP.

Also, in S-Series, Notfakers patch is not working well. I got it to load, and everything seems ok. But it crashes Shocked

The problem seems to be the Coredl2.dll. One should have a look at ths....

I give up this task. Its a frustrating job, and the reward does NOT match all the time needed to make this application work OK.

I managed to get it to work on a mio C520 and a ASUS. In S-70 its possible to make it run, but it is SO unstable Shocked

Garmin is a girly navigator, so instead i will concentrate on CoPilot live 7. It looks good. Hope its a little less troublesome Wink
