Navman Unlocked and Mio Moov Unlocked

Hello,

I wish to unlock my Navman N20 to be able to install, among others, OziCE.

According to what I understood of Tahtu's tutorial, it's enough to launch the downloaded program while having connecting Navman to the computer.

It seems to me too simple !

Are not there subtleties which I did not understand ?

Where must be exactly positioned the Unlock hack ? In what location ? In what directory ?

I don't understand completely the meaning of hard reset and soft reset. It seems that the one is simply made by switching off the Navman, and other one by a Reset button which I do not see on Navman N20.
What is it ?

Yes it is that simple!

I also unlocked my Navman N20 using the provided software. It works like charm. You will have a Windows CE desktop after the unlock.
If needed an uninstall for the unlock is provided. No worries.

Since several parameters are first only stored in temporary memory several changes made in programs will only be really stored after a SOFT RESET.
(registry files are modified to be able to retrieve stored data)
If you do not apply the soft reset after making changes in for example MioMaps running on your N20 they will be lost at the next hard reset (on/off switch at the bottom).

I personally do not store anything but the Navman SmartST (original navigation software) on the N20's internal memory. All additional programs I store on a SD card.
