| Please HELP! I unlocked my N60i with tahtu metod. After reset it dont load desktop??????? |

Please connect you Navman via ActiveSync and locate the following folder on it:
\Program Files\Navman
I think you will have at least the following files
AppStartupSec.exe (8 KB)
AppStartupSec.bak (> 20 KB)
AppStartupSec.mscr
MortScript.exe
Device.ini
If I'm right please do the following:
Delete AppStartupSec.exe
Delete AppStartupSec.mscr
Delete MortScript.exe
Delete Device.ini
Rename AppStartupSec.bak -> AppStartupSec.exe
Now please reset your device.
After booting please remove this folder:
\Program Files\Unlock
If all is fine now you have the normal locked Navman state.
I will not assist you anythings else than removeing the Unlock Hack. Maybe somebody else is interessted to assist you how you can get the unlocked state. |

So I dont have a folder Navman in Program Files!
Only in root in navman...
Please help! |

I'm sorry, if you lost you \Program Files\Navman folder I don't have an idea to help... 
(Maybe I'm wrong and AppStartupSec.exe is located in an other folder?) |

It seems that I was moved that folder on root of n60i. So I move this folder back on Program Files! Nothing happens and I dont have these files in this folder?
I back up only SMARTST_CE folder from your instructions! Have can I get back on original soft? Maybe from original CD rom?
Please help!!! |

| Don't Panic. If all else fails you can use the NavDesk software to reinstall the original Navman Software. |

| Ja I'm in Latvia and these install discs are in England! So I reinstall tahtu hack and now I can use navman but I dont hav the icon on desktop from original navi soft, but I have all folder ander program files (1.37 GB). And Tomtom all time crash, all versions....after first screen it stays black and white! |

Stay cool - this is the most important thing to get success.
You think you are far away from home? You arn't! The internet and this forum can help you if you stay cool...
I'm still unsure what you are talking about. You wrote to have problems with the unlock hack - and now you write your Navman is unlocked. 
It would be helpfull if you describe your problems more detailed...
If your Navman is unlocked with the start menu visible, I think you have an icon in the start menu to launch SmartST. Can you check this?
If the shortcut is the only problem on your end you can simple create a new one. 
To do this you have to know where your SmartST software is stored. I think it is:
\Program Files\Navman\SmartST_CE\SmartST_CE.exe
Maybe some other owner of a N-Series device can confirm this location, since I don't have that device.
After this you have to know where to place the shortcut. I think this will be here:
\Program Files\Unlock\Desktop
But I'm unsure about the folder structure - the last time I done this was five month before. Maybe somebody else can confirm this path?
Inside the Wiki are a lot of informations how to place shortcuts and how to do this. Please do not think other people will do this - you have to do it by yourself. Because of this you should read that pages by yourself. Please do not ask about the URL for it - I think some thing you can do by yourself without asking for help, isn't it? |

Yeas, I don't now how , but I was moved folders and I don't now the correct folder structure on n60! The folder SmartST_CE was'nt in program files navman! I move it there and now it shows maps not found!!! help someone to find the correct folder stucture of n60. And no way to run tomtom.....? |

I have the same problem with N60i, only usb screen on display... and...
mine is still greater, I have not aligned screen, and cannot press the start bar or something that is on the upper part of the screen, the pointer can click only in the lower half of the screen.
Any idea for ah hard reset even of the windows mobile? |

Mist, can you zip and send me your windows mobile folder?
If i replace it, I may have again the correct screen alignment.
Please! You can copy it by active sync.

Mist, there are 2 Navman folders. One is in the root with all the maps, sounds, etc. The other Navman folder is under program files and has the SmartST_CE subfolder only in it.
Here's the basic structure:

If you only see the usb screen when you turn yours on, I don't think there's a start bar off the screen anywhere, it's not there. Your unit is not working and needs to be fixed from activesync. Did you try the switch on the bottom of your n60, that's how you hard reset. That should also fix any screen alignment problems if it's software related, if not, I don't know why your alignment would be off so much.
I have an N60i that's been dead for months and never fixed. It was stuck on the usb screen and I couldn't connect to activesync because the usb port is bad on the unit. Nothing else that I could do. |

Thaks Man! A lot! This helps!!! Now I can run original soft! But tomtom is not running, first screen and after all stayes black on white background, only reset can help!
But hard reset switch is not so hard, because tahtu unlock still is running! Is it possible tu run without any cables, screen stays black, when I disconnect USB cable ? |
