Installation:
Load FPSECE.exe into a hex editor (like Hex-Workshop or UltraEdit)
and replace references to AYGSHELL with AYGSHELP
Add AYGSHELP.DLL to the FPSECE folder on your storage card.
From the xania dll pack, add imgdecmp.dll and zlib.dll to the FPSECE folder. The emulator should run fine without these two files but include them if you're having problems.
Notes:
The emulator will not work in Navman's default landscape mode.
Rotate the screen to Portrait Right Handed in Nyditot Virtual display.
Use the screen rotation option within FPSECE to play games in landscape mode. Aygshelp.dll was used because Aygshell.dll conflicts with FileManCE.
A large list of games that are compatible with the emulator can be found on the official FPSECE website.

Tekken 3 at 530Mhz
Games run faster with the sound disabled.
You should always reset the Navman back to its default speed before switching it off. Failing to do this may mean that a hard-reset is required to switch it on again.

Hi !
this is my first post here
A friend of mine asked me if it was possible to use his navman as a common pda and I found this wonderful website ! so for now the navman is at my place and i'm testing softwares on it.
I successfully installed many emulators but this one is not working I used the FPSEce v0.096 beta version, changed the hex code, flipped the screen and put the right dll.
But each time i try to launch a game the game, the emulator is crashing...
I tried different psx bioses, changed the memory size, and 3 different games.
So I don't know what is wrong here ?
Anyway, thank you for this wonderful and helpful website.

Hi alx5962
Did you also remember to use the GAPI for HPC GX.dll (in the small print directions )
Possible fixes...

What error message are you getting?
It probably won't make much difference but, from the xania dll pack copy the following dlls to the emulator's folder:
imgdecmp.dll
zlib.dll
The emulator will still work without these two files, but you get a fancy splash screen when they're installed.
Other things to try.
The GAPI driver should work, but try using the slower GDI graphics driver from the options window and see what happens.
Try using the the standard emulator (unhexed) with a normal aygshell.dll in the emulator's folder.
Use Recompiler in the CPU mode options menu.
I think the emulator by default is setup to work with the SCPH1001.BIN bios in FPSE.INI. So download SCPH1001.BIN and put it in the bios folder.

GAPI and LFB drivers produce a faster emulation speed than GDI. Both drivers work on my iCN without problems. To reiterate what Dmart said, install the latest version of GAPIforHPCs on your Navman. Then retry the GAPI driver option in the emulator.
GAPIforHPCs settings that work for iCN520
Play around with the settings to see what works for you.
