● YameCE still won't play nicely with gx.dll. The game screen gets squished up against the left edge of the LCD. I haven't tried it with the screen rotated 90°. |
Have you removed the option "Use PPC width" and "Use PPC height" from the GAPI setup- dialog ?
Could you provide a screenshot ?

My bad Settings
YameCE Problem: YameCE Link
It looks the same with framebuffer cache switched off. The YameCE menu remains unaffected.
All other applications and the 3 test programs work fine. |

Hello,
have tested this on my device without any problems.
I assume YameCE doesn't support devices with an rotated display.
Some PNA's (e.g. iCN 510 and 520) have the framebuffer origin at the left bottom edge of the display (orientation 90°). Nomally this is at the left top left edge (orientation 0°).
The rotation of the display contents to portrait (240x320) with tools like Nyditot may help.

...Photo shows YamceCE with <Size> set to <x2>, use <x1> and <stretch> enabled instead.
Problem Solved. Thanks Frank.
With Nyditot installed and the display rotated 90° (portrait right handed),
both YameCE and VBAdvancePPC will work with the GAPI driver.
Settings used in GAPIforHPC's for VBAdvancePPC:
.....
Note: frame buf is disabled in VBAdvance's <Draw Mode>.
With it switched on graphic corruption appears.
If you still notice graphic problems delete any saved game states and reload the game.
VBAdvance crashes if Screen Pos X is set to anything below 10 pixels. |
