I just got this installed on my n60 using the 480x272 PNA version of 3.3.
All I had to do was copy Miomap folder to storage card, overwrite license.db with 3.2 version, overwrite gx.dll with gapi version, and edit sys.txt to this:
[debug]
smart_2d=1
slowsim=1
loop_sim=1
[gps]
protocol = "NMEA"
port=2
baud=4800
[interface]
mio=1
landscape=0
width=480
height=272
base="mio/480_272/"
basel="mio/480_272/"
[speedcam]
usemio=-12,90,37,27
Upon loading Miomap, it got sat signal about as fast as i've seen this thing get it and showed the street I live on which SmartST doesn't. Without doing any keybindings yet, the volume buttons work, the map button seems to change the map angle but i'm not sure what the function is for and the silver circle button with the arrow in it pulls up some sort of custom routing screen. The Gas and Parking Lot buttons don't do anything and the Settings button doesn't do anything. I need to figure out how to do custom bindings for the n60. |

Please take a look to the downloadable files on the wiki page (link see in my last post of this thread).
There you will find the solution for the iCN 530. I think it should be easy for your to port this to your N60i.
Please ask, if you have further questions. |

What would the setting be here to use SiRF on the N Series? I change NMEA to SIRF and the unit works fine, but I don't see any difference (I don't know if it would be noticeable anyways.
[gps]
protocol = "NMEA"
port=2
baud=4800
Thanks! |

FYI, Text to Speech works with 3.3.
You will need this stuff from the US version of 3.3:
- Voice pack v_tts_nu_eng_us_f2.zip
- Language file: /lang/english_us.zip -- 97Kb version
- data.zip
- COMBRK.DLL
- comrsrc.dll
- possibly any other dll's not in your version
It works pretty well, but the voice isn't as human sounding/friendly as other packs. |

Long time reader, first time poster.
Can someone (if allowed) post up the Gapi gx.dll? I can't make the s30 connect to autosync so can't install gapi so can't get the gx.dll file!
EDIT: Nevermind, followed a link on the front page. |

If that still doesn't work, you can open your data.zip then go to the "mio" folder and make sure there is a folder called "480_272". If not then I think you have an incomplete version of Mio 3.3 maybe. |

Thanks Admin both txt files solved the issue of Miomap key allocation and setting the correct gps reception on my navman icn 510.
Thats one less issue
Tom tom v 6 working bar a low audio which Ive to look into yet [edit changed windows ce volume control and it seems higher we shall see] and Route 66installed but with gps issue which may need similar tweaking.
I looked at iGoMap but its huge by comparison with these three about [1.6GB] so I may give that one a miss. |
