There is a new version: Tom Tom 6.03 (build 8320)
For Windows Mobile PocketPC 2003/SE/WM5 with GPS
If you find this version (cracked or not) and you have an older one like 6.02, you must only replace the tom tom navigator.exe and data for the installed ones on your tomtom folder.
Wheremore there are very few changes:
- Welcome screen change
- Program is better adapter to VGA screen PDAs

I tried to install v6.03 several weeks ago, but it required note_prj.dll and caused a memory violation error when I used a dummy dll. |

I am looking at purchasing TomTom navigator software to get the new map updates for the US and Canada which were just released. I see the first note here stating that it will work but then a followup saying that you get a Memory error. Any validation of this? I would hate to buy it and then find it next to useless for me.
thanks,
-kevin

Great advantage of this version is that when searching a cityname, you can type continously. After you stop typing, TT will form a list. Before you had to wait after each letter typed.
Well, I tried the cracked version of this version on my 510. Had the mem error as well. Tried the uncracked version using the keygen found on the internet. This will generate valid codes for a pocketpc (tested it), but not for the 510. So I guess this version of TT recognizes the devices incorrectly.
Maybe this info is of some help for someone willing to look into this matter.

Did anyone get this version working yet?
I copied note_prj.dll to tomtoms program folder and it doesn't give me a mem violation error, but instead it says it can't find any maps and then closes itself..
Tried to put the map in various different locations on the sd card, but no luck so far. |

For the S-series a lot of problems remain on TT. Ive found out, that the memory violation has to do with the graphical interface.
S50/90 runs in 16/9, but in 4/3 it crashes.
Just now i`am testing 6.3 with some dll`s from TT 7 (XL1 vers). It looks like something that could work.... |
