Destinator 7
Landscape

Requirements:
    aygshell.dll

Install Main.cab from the [PPC2003] folder onto the Microsoft WM2005 or WM2003 emulator. Alternatively, extract the cab file with WinCECab Manager. (The cab in the [WM5] folder is not compatible with the Navman.)

Copy the [DestinatorApps] folder from the emulator to the Navman's storage card.

Add aygshell.dll to the [.../DestinatorApps/Destinator] folder. The slideshow player doesn't work on the Navman so you can delete the [Slideplayer] folder if you wish.

The TTS system (Text-To-Speech for street names) is somewhat unstable at the moment, therefore it might be better not to install it. I only tried Destinator with the EnglishUK_TTS.cab, so perhaps you might have better luck with another language. I would suggest you get the main application up and running before you try it with TTS.

If you were to copy the [DestinatorApps] folder to [Storage Card\Apps\] on the Navman, the registy .reg file for that location would look like this:
Code:
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Apps\DestinatorApps]
"Language"="1"
"Link"="Destinator"
"Vendor"="${reg.val.vendor}"
"Version"="${reg.val.version}"
"InstlDir"="\\Storage Card\\Apps\\DestinatorApps\\Destinator"

Change the InstlDir key to match your own install path. Then import the .reg file into TRE (The Registry Editor) on the Navman.

Jambutty
any major improvements over 6.1 (other than somewhat flaky TTS)?

It seems slightly sluggish compared with version 6 and very unstable when calculating long routes. I'm testing it with version 6 maps so I suspect they are causing some of the trouble.

The default interface skin has a Vista feel about it Confused , but the 3D map display looks similar to version 6. It's probably not worth installing it until they iron out a few more bugs first.

It seems running fine on iCN510 w/TTS.
I had hard time setting time, otherwise runs okay.
Route re-calculation is slow, but screen display is nice with voice street name..etc.
I don't know how to import speed cam or poi, interface is better than older version, but not as good as TT/Mio.

[note]
SpeedCam done Smile
Pimped up my ride with Subaru WRX skin Cool

Just got a mio moov 330 (europe ver). Unlocked it using the method described here.http://www.gpspassion.com/FORUMSEN/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=110897&whichpage=1
Tried to install Destinator 7 on it http://navmanunlocked.forumwise.com/navmanunlocked-post-1492.html

But unfortunately, nothing happens when I run destinator.exe. I realised that Moov 330 is running WinCE5, so I tried Destinator from WM5 folder. I got an error message this time. I tried to run the same installation procedure on WinCE5 emulator, it ran fine.

Apparently, there are some missing DLLs in moov 330. I tried to search the 'Windows' folder but could not find it on the flash disk.

Any idea, where I am going wrong?!!
