Firstly, thanks to everyone for the information contained on this site, really a great wealth of knowledge.
I have just got a Navman s30 and was looking around for some information and found this site.
I have followed the directions on how to unlock and have successfully done this (although I am one of the lucky s30 owners with no keyboard)
I am having problems installing software in my device.
I have successfully been able to install GAPI, MAME & OziExplorerCE demo, but I cant seem to get the following to work:
Wolf NCU (ver 2b? & 3) & Toolbar - Cannot find "" or one of it's components
AstroNavigatorII - Cannot find "" or one of it's components
They are the main applications I am tying to get going at this time. I read if programs don't work to run ExecutabilityCheck, but when I run this it just flashes something quickly on the screen and terminates.
Also read that you will need "Xania Blue Dummy Dll Pack" (link on front page) but when I click this I get redirected to http://xania.123.fr/ and cannot find them.
Is there a list any ware of what application work on the s30 or can somebody comment on what they have got to work.
Thanks

Also tried to install "JGUI: Follow Me"
Extracted the cab (FMGPS20T.PPC2002.STRONGARM.CAB) from the .exe and tried to run it:
The File" "is not a valid Windows CE Setup File.
How have others got this installed? |

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, I really appreciate you help
AusNav, thanks for the dll's
dmart123, was trying to run WolfNCU from the root. used Dependency Walker on the .exe and found I was missing MFCCE400.DLL. Searched this site and the net but can't find it. It was also not in any of the DLL packs. Any ideas??
Also tried AstroNavigatorII using the thread mentioned but when hex editing my file (demo version) I could not find references to mfcce300.dll so have not been able to get that to work yet.
Got JGUI: Follow Me to install (worked fine when I tried it this time). Had to add a few lines to the autorun.reg:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JGUI\GPS]
"Program Starts"=dword:00000001
"GPS Portname"="COM2:"
"GPS ByteSize"=dword:00000008
"GPS Speed"=dword:000012c0
"Save Folder"="\\Storage Card\\Program Files\\follow me\\"
There are plenty of other keys but I think these are the main ones you need.
Thanks all

Thanks fgv44,
Been playing with it all morning but have not been able to get it working. Now getting the error message:
'WolfNCU' is not a valid Windows CE application.
Guess it has something to do with getting the right DLL's, will keep trying and let you know if I can get it working. |
