| hi, my icn510 won't stay on if the power lead is pulled out. Is this a common fault and if so how do i fix it, or does it need a new battery installed |

i bought my battery from ebay and it came with a tool to open it up, it's easy to open, once you've removed the four screws start where the volume control is at the side and put your finger nail in to open it up slightly then insert the tool along the top of the unit then work your way around. there is a fifth screw where the flip out antenna is but you don't need to unscrew this. once opened the battery is held with double sided tape so just lift it carefully and unplug the wires from the connector. if they don't give you a tool to open the unit just use a small precision screwdriver
hope that helps |
